You need to read this before purchasing as keys and remotes cannot be returned.

All Volvo models 1999-Up & some 1998 models require a software download from your local dealership at an additional cost for the key to start your vehicle. Remotes need a software download also. The keys and remotes cannot be programmed, it is the vehicle that has to be programmed so we cannot do it. This is a Government mandated security procedure which all manufacturers including Volvo are required to follow.

"Coded Keys" means the key has been pre-cut to fit your vehicle (software still required, the key will turn the door and ignition but not start it). We require proof of ownership before shipping your order. Please fax a copy of your drivers license and either a copy of your vehicles title or registration. Fax to 972-560-0629 or email to sales@myswedishparts.com. Blank "not cut to fit" keys are available.

Warning about purchasing remotes from EBay. Volvo remotes require either a pin code or a software download and once a remote has been programmed to a car then it cannot be used again on another Volvo. Also, Volvo cars often have 5 different remote choices available for a given model so an S80 remote on EBay may fit a 2000 only S80 and not another year.
